Parallelogram LiftsThe original OMER parallelogram lift cannot be equaled!
OMER invented the parallelogram lift in the late 70's. A brilliant engineer by the name of Eride Rossato converted the basic concept of a parallelogram to be used in the context of vehicle lifts. Mr. Rossato took this concept and applied to lifting both automotive and heavy-duty vehicles. In order to insure that the two runways remained parallel during lifting Mr. Rossato came up with the unique concept of a torsion bar. The torsion bar is a mechanical device that insures co-planarity and is one of the hallmark features of an Omer lift. The torsion bar is simply a mechanical linkage between the legs that connect to the runways and serves as both a mechanical connection and a form of synchronization.
